Every day on the boat is a little different—but here’s how a typical day goes when you join us on South Puget Sound chasing cutthroat or salmon on the fly.
We run a Ranger RB 190, purpose-built for shallow water access, stable casting, and quick repositioning when the fish are moving. It’s clean, spacious, and rigged for fly anglers—no bait tanks or downriggers getting in your way. With low sides and a clean deck layout, it’s easy to cast from any angle.
We usually meet up around first light, depending on tides and conditions. Most trips launch from public ramps near Tacoma, Gig Harbor, or Fox Island. Exact location will be confirmed the day before your trip, based on where the fish are feeding.
We’ll give you directions, parking tips, and make sure you’ve got everything squared away the night before.
